Bio :: Brief Version

I wear a lot of hats—figuratively and literally.

As an independent musician, I do it all—songwriting, recording, production, mixing, mastering, graphic design, social media, publicity, web development, loading in, loading out, and "mailroom" duty. My music has been featured in publications like Indy Week and Chapelboro, highlighted in Chapelboro's "Top 50 Songs of 2024", played across the state from WKNC to WOVV, and showcased in a live interview and performance on WCHL. It blends folk, blues, rock, philosophy, religious/Tolkien/classical mythologies, and everyday life into something deeply personal, unique, yet rooted in tradition.

I come from a lot of places, though none where I could fully be myself. Growing up in small towns across the East Coast, I learned what it means to be part of a marginalized community without an actual community. Music became my refuge—a connection to something bigger than myself, while also felt deeply, personally within myself.

Beyond music, I’ve led teams of up to 15 engineers designing up to $600 million biopharmaceutical projects, and I worked on COVID-19 vaccine production at the height of the pandemic—a genuinely honorable experience that changed my perspective on service and impact. That led me to FM radio DJing, where I hosted and curated North Carolina music on WCOM and WOVV, amplifying underrepresented voices.

This portfolio showcases my work across music, DJing, writing, and visual storytelling. At the heart of it all, I just want to make meaningful things, and to make things meaningful—and help others do the same. If that sounds good to you, let's chat!
